Careers Expo
On Friday 8 June 2012 Tamaki Intermediate School went to the Careers Expo. First we all had to go to the hall so that we can listen to the teachers for instruction. We all travelled by a bus then when we got there we all had to get into class lines. Then we all went inside the expo. There were only a few people in the expo.We all had to get into our groups. My group went with Edward. Edward did 40 push ups so he could get a t-shirt.When we walked in we all got a bag each.
We all went our own way with our groups. We got lots of new things from the expo like pens, bands and lollies. The most important thing we learnt was information about jobs we could think about in the future.

Air Port
Wednesday 21st of March was the day Rm7and some of Rm12 students went to the Airport.
The airport is a place where you can fly in and out of New Zealand.
Around 12,000 people work at the Airport each week.
Tiana Samasoni is a school educator. Tiana Samasoni was the one who took as for a tour around Airport. She took us up to the sky deck to watch the planes. And she talked about how Jean Batten was the first women to fly a plane in England then to New Zealand. We saw a plane take off and we saw a plane landing.
Our trip to the Airport was fun because we got to learn about many things. We left the Airport to go back to school.
